Find My iPhone: Insanely Great

After your last sobering experience losing your iPhone and not being able to use the “Find my iPhone” feature, we have learnt our lesson. Thankfully, Apple has added a couple of niceties in the new 3.1 update.

I’d like to think they read this blog when they were deciding what to do:

  • You can now remotely lock the phone.
  • The remote pager works even if the phone is on silent, but if the volume is turned down, it will not be all that useful even with the shrill tone is uses and now it will play that tone at full volume no matter what the volume is at.
  • One more thing: Find My iPhone is enabled by default.
